Matthew Perry’s Los Angeles Home Sold At THIS Price A Year After His Tragic Death; Details

As a lifestyle expert with a deep appreciation for the lives of those who have graced our screens and touched our hearts, I find Matthew Perry’s story both heart-wrenching and thought-provoking. His journey, marked by struggles with addiction and mental health issues, yet peppered with moments of triumph and laughter, resonates profoundly.

54-year-old Matthew Perry’s Los Angeles residence, the place he spent his last moments before his sudden demise last year, has been bought for $8.55 million. As per People magazine, this off-market transaction involved a four-bedroom, four-bathroom property situated in Pacific Palisades, LA. The New York Times previously reported that Perry had purchased the house for $6 million in 2020.

In this transaction, Greg Holcombe from Carolwood Estates managed the listing for Perry’s estate, and Brooke Elliot Laurinkus, who works at Christie’s International Real Estate, acted as the representative for the buyer.

In December 2023, an autopsy report confirmed that the death of actor Perry was due to the sudden impact of ketamine. The unfortunate incident took place when he was found unconscious in a hot tub at his residence. At the time of his demise, it was reported by a source to the outlet that Perry had recently renovated his house and was extremely satisfied with it. He often referred to this home as “heaven,” the source further disclosed.

In May 2024, a house owned by an actor, situated in the Hollywood Hills, was put up for sale with a price tag of $5.2 million. Records show that he acquired this residence in June 2023, a mere four months prior to his passing.

After Perry’s death, his family shared their sorrow with People magazine, describing him as a “cherished son” and “dear brother.

An examination after Perry’s demise found several elements that led to his passing. These factors were drowning, heart disease related to the coronary arteries, and the consequences of taking buprenorphine, a drug utilized for managing addiction to opioids.

In May 2024, officials initiated a thorough probe to identify the origin of the potent drug, given that the trace discovered in Perry’s system was similar to what’s administered for general anesthesia, as per the autopsy findings.

In August, five individuals were taken into custody and charged for their involvement in Perry’s death. Among them were two doctors, a woman known as Jasveen Sangha, also recognized as The Ketamine Queen, and Perry’s live-in assistant who had given him the final dose of ketamine before leaving to run errands. This same individual was the first to contact authorities upon returning home and discovering Perry’s body in the jacuzzi.
