The upcoming film will showcase the Calatrava building in Oviedo, a location that previously represented the UN Headquarters in ‘Captain America: Civil War.’
While I geared up for another day on set, little did I know that Director Matt Shakman had a thrilling surprise tucked under his sleeve for us local gaming enthusiasts.
Shakman dropped by at Hangar Rebelde, an Oviedo comic book store serving as a film set. He greeted the employees warmly and picked up a comic showcasing Marvel’s initial superhero clan, illustrated by Tom Scioli, due to his appreciation of its vintage aesthetic.
Jorge Etchegoyen, the store owner, was thrilled, particularly because his shop’s decor centered around The Fantastic 4 and was located near one of the movie sets. After talking to him, Etchegoyen managed to snap a picture with Shakman, creating an unforgettable moment after many years in the comic book industry.
