Matt Letscher, best known for his Arrowverse role as Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash, has been cast in ‘Suits L.A.’ to portray the father of Stephen Amell’s character, Ted Black. According to TV Line, this new addition is expected to bring an exciting dimension to NBC’s upcoming series.
The spin-off of the hit USA Network show ‘Suits’ is set to debut on Sunday, February 23rd, airing at 9/8 central time.
In the series, Stephen Amell plays the role of Ted Black, previously a federal prosecutor, who currently defends the high-society individuals of Los Angeles.
The character portrayed by Letscher is depicted as a dominant figure who governs through instilling fear. However, despite his strict methods and the strained connection between him and Ted due to previous disputes involving their sibling Eddie (Carson A. Egan), he’s currently trying to rebuild their relationship.
In addition to the main cast, the show will include special appearances from Maggie Grace portraying Amanda Stevens, a volunteer attorney who may develop romantic feelings for Ted, and Sofia Pernas playing Elizabeth Smith, a tenacious lawyer who squares off against Ted during a critical murder case.
The main actors consist of Josh McDermitt portraying Stuart Lane, Lex Scott Davis playing Erica Rollins, and Bryan Greenberg taking on the role of Rick Dodsen. Notably, Gabriel Macht is set to reappear as Harvey Specter for a span of three episodes.
