It’s been confirmed by Nicholas Galitzine that filming for the upcoming live-action Masters of the Universe film has come to an end. The actor, who portrays both Prince Adam and He-Man, shared this news with fans via Instagram on June 15th, giving a glimpse of his He-Man costume as well.
As I bid farewell to Masters of the Universe, I’m humbled to have carried the weight of portraying Adam and He-Man. This role has been a lifetime journey, one that I’ve poured my heart and soul into. Unfortunately, there isn’t much I can reveal, but let me tell you, I am incredibly proud of the film we’ve created together. A huge thank you to our exceptional cast and crew for your tireless dedication. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you all.
The upcoming movie, jointly produced by Amazon, MGM Studios, and Mattel Films, will be helmed by director Travis Knight. According to Deadline, it’s scheduled for release in theaters on June 5, 2026.
