Marvel’s Vision Series Casts T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, New Details Revealed

Marvel’s Vision series has found its Jocasta with actress T’Nia Miller cast in the starring role.

Based on reports, it’s suggested that she will likely star as the main character, acting alongside Paul Bettany.

There’s talk that James Spader may reprise his role as Ultron, with speculation suggesting he might appear in a human form this time around.

Who is Jocasta?

In the comic books, Jocasta was constructed as Ultron’s spouse, a creation born from the mind patterns of Janet van Dyne.

What they do with the version in the MCU remains to be seen.

The leaked concept art (as shown) that was originally believed to be from Avengers: Doomsday, led some to assume that Jocasta might have been portrayed as the female version of Ultron.

What is the Vision series about?

After the occurrences depicted in WandaVision, there’s a belief that The Vision (played by Bettany) embarks on a journey to recover his memories and reclaim his humanity, often referred to as a personal quest or self-discovery phase.

What happened in WandaVision?

The last time we encountered Vision was towards the end of “WandaVision”. In this series, Scarlet Witch had magically resurrected Vision as her husband and the father of their fictional children within her reality. On the other hand, SWORD reconstructed Vision’s deceased physical form to create a new version called White Vision, with the intention of countering Wanda’s creation. In the final episode, these two Visions clashed, but eventually reached an understanding. The memories of the original Vision were transferred to White Vision, who then acknowledged his true identity and departed, leaving his future unclear.

The specific plot details and the exact roles played by James Spader’s Ultron and T’Nia Miller’s Jocasta in the upcoming Disney+ series remain unclear at this point.

Previously, James Spader’s character, Ultron, was last seen in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” During that encounter, Vision terminated Ultron’s final form. Their discussion revolved around humanity, with Vision expressing understanding and empathy towards humans, while Ultron held a disdainful view of them.

Maybe the Vision creates Jocasta to be his wife, and it backfires?
