Marvel has successfully launched a grand premiere for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps“, and this wasn’t your typical trailer release. The sneak peek of the movie garnered over 202 million views within 24 hours, placing it among the top viewed Marvel Studios debuts in recent times. Only the premieres of “Deadpool & Wolverine” had a greater first-day view count.
To amplify the surprise factor, actors Pedro Pascal, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, and Vanessa Kirby visited the U.S. Space & Rocket Center located in Huntsville, Alabama, for an exciting excursion.
The way they looked added to the enthusiasm for Marvel’s new interpretation of the superhero group, as this is the initial Fantastic Four movie directed by Kevin Feige following Disney’s acquisition of the franchise during the Fox merger.
Disney announced that the Alabama event set a new record as the most-watched YouTube livestream from Marvel, skyrocketing to the top of YouTube’s trending list. On social media, the trailer garnered an impressive 500,000 mentions, with only the Super Bowl teaser for Deadpool 3 generating more online buzz about a Marvel film.
The video previews a world that embodies a futuristic aesthetic from the past, and suggests an epic confrontation with one of Marvel Comics’ most intimidating antagonists, Galactus. Fans have eagerly anticipated Marvel Studios’ interpretation of the Fantastic Four for quite some time, and now that wait is coming to an end.
The movie titled “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is slated for a theater release in July 2025. Unlike other Marvel productions, this one marks the return of the original team who ignited the Marvel phenomenon.
