The recently unveiled trailer for “Marvel Zombies” unexpectedly emphasizes Blade over Ms. Marvel, who was initially suggested as the central character. One might speculate that she’s immune to the zombie virus, considering her various powers (quite a laughable guess, I must say!).
It’s possible that the changes were made due to the revelation by Kevin Feige that, as many had suspected, there is a lack of interest in watching the character, Ms. Marvel.
Or more than likely, it’s more bait and switch.

Looks promising
As a devoted fan, I must say that the Marvel Zombies trailer truly delivers an impressive and thrilling experience. Here’s crossing my fingers that this exhilaration continues throughout the entire series. Remarkably, it will consist of just four episodes, all of which will be released simultaneously – can’t wait to binge-watch them!
Also, that’s not Mahershala Ali in the trailer, they replaced him with voice actor Todd Williams.

The voice cast
That said, Marvel Zombies still features a slew of MCU actors including:
- Hailee Steinfeld: Kate Bishop
- Florence Pugh: Yelena Belova
- Elizabeth Olsen: Scarlet Witch / Wanda Maximoff
- David Harbour: Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian
- Awkwafina: Katy
- Iman Vellani: Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel
- Randall Park: Jimmy Wu
- Simu Liu: Xu Shang-Chi
- Dominique Thorne: Iron Heart / Riri Williams
- Todd Williams: Blade
- Paul Rudd: Ant-Man
- Tessa Thompson: Valkryie
- Wyatt Russell: John Walker

The official plot:
In a post-zombie apocalypse scenario where the Avengers have been infected, a band of frantic survivors uncover the secret to vanquishing the undead superheroes, venturing through a grim, post-apocalyptic terrain while putting themselves in peril to save their world.

Release info
Marvel Zombies debuts on Disney+ on September 26th, making it the initial Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) series to receive a mature rating.
