Good news for Marvel fans! The upcoming closed beta for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls has a new trailer revealing gameplay details. From December 5th to 7th (Pacific Time), PlayStation 5 players can try out the fast-paced, anime-style 4v4 fighting game developed by Arc System Works.
Beta Details: 8 Playable Characters and New Stage
The beta version coming soon will let you play as eight different characters. This gives you a chance to really get familiar with the game’s special tagging system and powerful special moves. Both new players and experienced ones can practice online, watch matches, and use the training tools to improve their gameplay.
This update introduces the X-Mansion as a new battle stage. Fans will recognize it as the famous home of the X-Men, but it’s been redesigned as a fast-paced arena where players can fight in different sections of the mansion.

How to Sign Up for the Beta
PlayStation players can now register for a chance to test the beta version. If the sign-up link takes you to the PlayStation Store or gives you an error message, that means you’ve already been selected to participate!
Players selected for the beta will be among the first to try the newest version of MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Their feedback will help improve the game before it officially releases on PlayStation 5 and PC in 2026.
