As a die-hard Marvel fan who’s been following their cinematic universe since its inception, I can’t help but get excited about the latest rumblings of the ‘Midnight Sons’ project. The potential roster, if true, is nothing short of a dream come true for us comic book enthusiasts. If you recall, I was one of those fans who campaigned tirelessly for a Moon Knight series, and now it seems like he might just be getting the spotlight he deserves!
Recently, whispers have emerged that Marvel Studios might be developing a ‘Midnight Sons’ venture, allegedly connected to the forthcoming ‘Blade’ remake. Although Marvel hasn’t confirmed the project yet, there’s been a steady stream of news about its progress.
A more recent rumor indicates that ‘Logan’ scribe Michael Green may be working on the script, but this has yet to be verified by any reliable sources.
Recently, there was a suggested lineup for the MCU’s ‘Midnight Sons’ that leaked. The main group is anticipated to feature Wong, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Blade, Werewolf by Night, and Man-Thing. Additional potential members, ranked from most probable to least, might include Black Knight, Scarlet Scarab, Elsa Bloodstone, Doctor Strange, and Agatha Harkness. It’s speculated that the team will have between 6 and 9 members in total.
Based on the recent gossip by source Daniel Richtman, it appears that Marvel Studios is speeding up production on the upcoming movie, and they are actively seeking a suitable director at this time.

It was recently announced that the planned ‘Blade’ reboot is now indefinitely postponed. Previously, we shared news that a decision regarding the project would be made soon, but regrettably, it seems the update is not favorable.
Yesterday, it was confirmed that the ‘Blade’ reboot, which had been subject to numerous setbacks, has been taken off the 2025 release calendar. This decision comes following a series of alterations in screenwriters and directors.
Different sources propose that Mahershala Ali could potentially be at the heart of the current problems, or alternatively, they attribute it to a flawed screenplay and plotline.
If the ‘Midnight Sons’ project is being developed, there’s a strong possibility that it might serve as an alternative to the ‘Blade’ series.
