Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige Confirms BLACK PANTHER 3

As a die-hard Marvel fan who’s been on this rollercoaster since the very beginning, I can’t help but feel a surge of exhilaration hearing that Black Panther 3 is indeed happening! The fact that Nate Moore, a key figure behind the success of the original and the latest installment, will be sticking around to work on the next film is music to my ears.

It’s been confirmed that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will return to Wakanda, not just in animation, but also in live action. This is because Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has officially announced that “Black Panther 3” will be released in theaters. Moreover, one of the key people behind-the-scenes is set to continue working on the upcoming sequel.

A recent article at Deadline brings some surprising yet delightful information about the future of the Black Panther series in cinemas. Long-term executive Nate Moore is leaving Marvel Studios in 2025 to produce films outside the Marvel universe. In a positive statement acknowledging Moore’s tenure, Kevin Feige disclosed that they will collaborate on at least one more new MCU film together. Feige expressed his sadness over Moore’s departure but looks forward to seeing his future projects while also planning to work with him again on their next Black Panther movie.

That’s good news for Black Panther fans. Moore played a big role in developing and producing the original movie. He was also involved with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which in some ways was an even harder film to make. The sequel saw Letitia Wright’s Shuri take over the mantle of her country’s protector after the passing of Chadwick Boseman. But while the MCU has a new Black Panther, Boseman’s death will always be felt in the franchise. Having an experienced member of the development and producing team who was with the series from the start is a huge boon for Black Panther 3.

Moore might have another compelling reason to stay on board for an additional movie, and that’s because Denzel Washington could potentially feature in the film. It’s worth mentioning that this Academy Award-winning veteran has hinted at being cast in “Black Panther 3”, as director Ryan Coogler is reportedly penning a role tailored just for him. This revelation is one of the strongest indications yet that the franchise will indeed continue with a third installment. However, it might also have been the moment we should have realized that the series was destined to return.

If you have a chance to bring Denzel Washington to Wakanda, you definitely take it.
