It’s been whispered around that Kevin Feige might reintroduce Jonathan Majors as the villainous Kang the Conqueror in future Avengers films, but these claims are actually false.
According to reports from TMZ, it appears that Jonathan Majors is not currently in discussions about rejoining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Multiple reliable sources claim that Majors has not engaged in any conversations with Marvel Studios regarding a return to the MCU. Furthermore, it’s stated that Marvel does not have plans to bring back Jonathan Majors within the MCU at this time.
In 2023, Majors departed from Marvel due to his legal issues. Additionally, it’s been reported that the disappointing performance of “Quantumania” pushed Marvel towards abandoning Kang in the MCU, instead opting to reintroduce Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom in “Avengers: Doomsday.
The buzz emerged last week, almost simultaneous with the unveiling of the trailer for Magazine Dreams, featuring Jonathan Majors. It’s quite possible this isn’t a mere coincidence. Most likely, someone leaked an anonymous tip to generate interest around Majors and what could be more attention-grabbing than speculating he might rejoin Marvel.
