As a die-hard comic book enthusiast with a particular fondness for Marvel and its intriguing cast of characters, I can’t help but feel a pang of disappointment upon hearing the news that Rainbow Rowell’s “Sensational She-Hulk” series will be coming to an end after just ten issues.
Many MCU fans associate “She-Hulk” mainly with a live-action show that received mixed reviews, attracting both admiration and criticism. In contrast, for comic book aficionados, She-Hulk has been the must-read superheroine during her latest “Sensational She-Hulk” comic book series.
Recently and quietly, Marvel revealed that the Jennifer Walters series will conclude after publishing ten issues. Ever since its release in 2023, this series has amassed a devoted following, who have been excitedly waiting for more stories featuring Jennifer Walters.
On social media, Rainbow Rowell shared that the She-Hulk comic series will come to an end with the publication of issue 10. For this finale, Rowell teamed up with Andrés Genolet to co-write.
Dear cherished She-Hulk fans ❤️: I regret to inform you that Issue 10 marks the conclusion of our current storyline. Writing for She-Hulk has been an incredible experience, and I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Andrés, Dee, Joe, Jen, Nick, and Kaeden. This character held a special place on my Marvel wishlist, and I feel deeply grateful to have brought her this far in her journey.

The last installment of “Sensational She-Hulk” is scheduled for release on August 14, 2024. Luckily, the author was able to conclude Jen’s tale with a satisfying ending. In this captivating series, Jen makes her heroic comeback, collaborates with her cousin against major perils, develops romantic feelings for Jack of Hearts (now touchable for her), and experiences thrilling journeys through space.
Naturally, fans were heartbroken that the series was ending—at least for now.
As a gamer, I must admit, this is tough on my feelings. The side characters and their development brought me back to more joyful times. The art complemented the vibe perfectly. I’m going to miss this journey and can only hope for a revival or another adventure with the same enthusiasm.

I’m deeply saddened by this. An impeccable book in all respects, one that had me cheering for Jen and Jack of Hearts each month. Its absence will be felt strongly.

It’s unfortunate but touching to see how hilarious and heartfelt your comics are, with each page brimming with emotion. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your work on Runaways, She-Hulk, and any future projects, such as Young Avengers or Champions. I’ll be looking forward to them.
