The new game, *MARVEL Cosmic Invasion*, has added Black Panther and Cosmic Ghost Rider to its list of playable characters, bringing the total number of confirmed heroes to thirteen.
Black Panther and Cosmic Ghost Rider Join the Battle
The newest trailer reveals that Black Panther and Cosmic Ghost Rider will team up to battle Annihilus and his Annihilation Wave in the upcoming game. The game brings together heroes from across the Marvel Universe, both cosmic and Earth-based, and these two characters represent a striking contrast in backgrounds and powers.
- Cosmic Ghost Rider rides into battle on his flaming space-cycle, armed with hellfire and the Power Cosmic. This wild, vengeance-fueled version of the Rider promises to be a high-damage, chaotic playstyle.
- Black Panther, the King of Wakanda, brings speed, precision, and martial arts mastery to the fight. Armed with his vibranium suit and sonic daggers, T’Challa looks built for close-quarters combo action.

Game Overview and Setting
Players will fight their way through famous Marvel locations, like New York City and the Negative Zone, to stop Annihilus from destroying the galaxy. The game features a classic pixel-art look and a unique team-up system where you control two heroes and swap between them in battle.
The gameplay is fast, arcade-style, with both local and online co-op and drop-in/drop-out support.
Release Info
Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a new game coming in 2025 from Tribute Games and Dotemu, in partnership with Marvel Games. It will be available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox.
