Although there wasn’t a great deal of entirely new information disclosed, there were numerous intriguing details about the mode and some enticing glimpses of the upcoming exclusive for Nintendo Switch 2.

The mode we’re most familiar with is called Grand Prix, which involves racing through four different tracks, including the journeys between them. Some have raised questions about the straight stretches between each track potentially making it less engaging, but the footage in this broadcast appears as chaotic and exciting as ever, due to twice as many racers and intriguing elements along the way.

However, this feature only adjusts your position, not that of other racers, making it primarily useful for perfecting tricks and mastering shortcuts.

It appears that the Free Roam mode offers a wealth of content beyond initial expectations. It’s not just about aimlessly exploring the map; instead, it includes mini P-Switch challenges, secretly placed coins, and mystery question mark switches for discovery. These finds could potentially unlock exciting new features.
