Marie Osmond Mourns Late Brother Wayne Osmond With Heartfelt Tribute: ‘He Was Always My Safe Place’

I’m absolutely heartbroken, for my beloved brother, dear Wayne Osmond, has left us far too soon. His spirit took flight on the first day of this new year, claimed by a massive stroke at the tender age of 73. The pain in my heart is indescribable; he was not just my brother, but my guiding light, my confidant, and my best friend. I’ll cherish every moment we shared, as his memory lives on forever in my heart. Rest in peace, dear Wayne.

In a heartfelt Instagram message, Marie, aged 65, expressed that the passing of her older sibling has left an empty space in her life that hasn’t been filled up until now. She is deeply appreciative for the final visit they shared together.

She expressed, “A few weeks back, I had the opportunity for a lengthy car journey to visit my dear brother Wayne. The Spirit within me seemed to urge me to make this trip, and I’m immensely grateful that I heeded that inner call.

Those moments with him will hold a special place in my heart forever. I never imagined that only a few days following our time together, he would suffer a severe stroke,” the singer explained.

Over the past few weeks, Marie mentioned that she’d been compelled to visit Wayne, as they shared delightful chats, hearty laughter, and thought-provoking discussions. She described him as her sanctuary, where she’d seek counsel whenever needed.

Osmond pointed out that Wayne had an immense affection for his family, achieved great success as a musician and entertainer, and consistently offered support as a sibling. She further mentioned, “Wayne’s passing has left yet another void in my heart.

Among the nine Osmond siblings, it was Wayne Osmond who played a significant role in the rise to fame of their band, The Osmond Brothers. He was one of the original members.

Marie’s touching homage to her sibling follows in the wake of Donny’s heartwarming social media message, as the Osmond clan persistently honors the life of Wayne and the enduring impact he made.
