As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for pop culture and celebrity antics, I must say that Rihanna’s Christmas present this year has undeniably been the talk of the town! The spectacle of the Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, signing Rihanna’s chest at her final tour stop is nothing short of epic.
On Tuesday, December 17th, it’s likely that Rihanna had the most extraordinary Christmas gift of all time. This was because she successfully convinced Mariah Carey, often referred to as the Christmas Queen, to autograph her chest during Rihanna’s last concert stop at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, marking the end of her tour.
In the viral video shared by fans, Rihanna, who’s 36 years old, expressed, “I require a pen, specifically a Sharpie.
In a lively manner, the creator of Fenty Beauty seized Carey’s microphone to proclaim, “Everyone, Mariah Carey is autographing my arm right now! This moment is utterly extraordinary!
Last weekend, Carey’s performance at Barclays signified her comeback on stage following a bout with the flu the week prior. Regrettably, she had to cancel her December 11 show in Pittsburgh mere hours before stepping onto the stage at the PPG Paints Arena.
Unfortunately, I’m under the weather with the flu. This means I must regretfully miss tonight’s performance in Pittsburgh. My affection for each and every one of you is immense,” she shared through X.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mariah Carey had to cancel the concerts she had planned for December 13th in Newark, NJ, and December 15th in Belmont Park, NY, which were originally scheduled on those dates.
Apologies for the disappointment, folks! Due to my ongoing illness, I’m unable to perform at Newark and Belmont shows tonight and on Sunday. I’m truly sorry and grateful for your understanding. Sincerely, MC.
She expressed gratitude to the lambs for making her holiday season extraordinary. Each evening’s caroling with them has been a joy, and she eagerly looks forward to reuniting with everyone tomorrow in Brooklyn for the final concert of the tour, as stated on Instagram.
Many familiar faces joined Carey on her tour, including her 13-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.
On the 9th of December, during her performance in Raleigh, the twins surprised their mom by joining her on stage and gifting her flowers to commemorate her hit song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” regaining the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 once more.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Carey reminisced about a memorable occasion, stating that there could be no more fitting method to honor the lasting impact of her beloved tune than performing it alongside her children and admirers.
2021 signifies the thirty-year milestone for Carey’s iconic holiday album “Merry Christmas,” including the hit track within it.
