I’m a huge Margot Robbie fan, and what always strikes me is how completely she becomes the characters she plays. Whether it’s the tough, determined Tonya Harding or the wild energy of Harley Quinn, she just disappears into the role. And it’s not just on screen – she’s amazing at getting into the vibe of a movie during press tours, using her outfits and style to really capture what the project is all about. It’s brilliant!
Following the huge success of her bright, pink outfits inspired by Barbie, the actress is now embracing a more subdued and enigmatic style.
With her new movie, Wuthering Heights, coming out soon, Robbie is working with her regular hairstylist, Bryce Scarlett, to create a style that captures the dark and dramatic feel of the film.
The new look features long, flowing waves that fall to the waist, styled in a relaxed half-updo with face-framing pieces. Her hair color has also been updated with richer, darker shades blended into her usual blonde, creating a more striking and serious effect.
Stylists are calling this hairstyle “Wuthering Waves,” and many believe it will be a major hair trend this year. The look gained attention when an actress debuted it on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, quickly inspiring people online. It features loose, flowing S-shaped waves that look natural and windswept, reminiscent of the dramatic scenery in the novel Wuthering Heights.
Although Scarlett hasn’t shared all his styling secrets, experts believe a flat iron is key to getting this particular hair texture. You can achieve the look by gently curving each section of hair and pinning the top half. If you naturally have curls, a defining cream can create a similar, soft and romantic texture without using a lot of heat.

Margot Robbie takes on the lead role of Catherine Earnshaw, her first major project following the huge success of the Barbie movie in 2023. She’s also a producer on the film through her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment. Robbie has been busy promoting the movie, which premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on January 28th.
Emerald Fennell directs a fresh and daring take on Emily Brontë’s beloved novel. Margot Robbie will star alongside Jacob Elordi as the iconic Heathcliff. The film also features a strong supporting cast, including Hong Chau as Nelly Dean, and Alison Oliver, Shazad Latif, and Martin Clunes. Its innovative approach and modern soundtrack, created by Charli XCX, are already creating a buzz.
Now that “Wuthering Heights” is out, Robbie is set to start working on several exciting new films. She’s confirmed to be in a prequel to “Ocean’s Eleven,” and there’s talk she’ll be starring in a much-awaited biographical film. Right now, though, everyone is focused on her portrayal of Catherine, which is expected to be the most powerful and emotionally demanding role of her career.
Wuthering Heights will be released in theaters on February 13th, perfect timing for Valentine’s Day. The movie’s promotion focuses on the strong connection between the main actors, and it’s being advertised as the biggest film of the winter.
