Robbie excitedly told reporters during a London radio interview on February 4th that something amazing was coming. She shared that the clothes her character, Catherine Earnshaw, wears are carefully chosen to reflect her inner thoughts and feelings.

Margot Robbie’s stylist, Mukamal, worked closely with the costume designer on set to make sure Robbie’s outfits for the film’s promotion matched the movie’s look and feel. Robbie explained that Mukamal, who studied history, loves to thoroughly research everything, including the original 1847 novel by Emily Brontë, to get the details right.

After a busy week that included appearances in Paris and Los Angeles, Robbie continued his tour in London. He’s been showcasing a consistently dramatic, “gothic romantic” style, with outfits featuring rich materials like dark velvet and lace, and designs reminiscent of past eras. In Paris, he wore a burgundy velvet Chanel ballgown, and in Los Angeles, a Schiaparelli trumpet gown.

The movie is being promoted as a fresh, scandalous take on the classic story, and boasts a soundtrack by Charli XCX. The cast includes Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, Hong Chau as Nelly Dean, and Shazad Latif as Edgar Linton.

Robbie’s production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, had a very successful 2025. She just wrapped up filming A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, a fantasy romance featuring Colin Farrell. Currently, she’s preparing to produce the live-action The Sims movie, and she’s still set to star in a new prequel to Ocean’s Eleven with Ryan Gosling.

Jacob Elordi, who acted alongside her in Wuthering Heights, is also enjoying a strong start to 2026. Besides playing the intense character of Heathcliff, he appeared in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein and will be in the long-awaited third season of Euphoria. Director Emerald Fennell has called the connection between the two actors “intoxicating,” and early indicators suggest their film could be one of the year’s biggest dramatic successes.

The new film, Wuthering Heights, will be released in theaters on February 13th, perfect for a Valentine’s Day weekend outing.
