Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi are starring as Catherine and Heathcliff in a new movie inspired by Emily Brontë’s classic novel, Wuthering Heights. The actors have become close friends while filming, and Robbie recently told Vogue that Elordi surprised her with a room full of roses on set. Their strong chemistry in this reimagining of the story has captivated audiences and built excitement for the film’s release.
As a huge fan, I was so excited to hear about how Margot Robbie spent Valentine’s Day last year! She’s been so sweet talking about Jacob Elordi, especially how wonderful he was to work with on ‘Wuthering Heights’. Apparently, he really went all out! She shared that he surprised her with the most adorable gesture – he filled her room with roses, totally channeling his Heathcliff character. It sounds like such a romantic and thoughtful thing to do, and it clearly meant a lot to her!
She was incredibly impressed with her co-star. Watching how kind he was to her on set, she thought about how wonderful he must be to his significant other. She recalled thinking he’d make a great boyfriend, noting it wasn’t just the gift of roses, but the thoughtful message written like it was from his character, Heathcliff, and even a small, playful tombstone prop he included. He’d clearly put a personal touch on the surprise, connecting it to the role he was playing.
In a previous interview, the Barbie actress revealed she felt anxious when separated from her co-star, to the point of constantly looking for him. People online have been very impressed with how dedicated both actors were to their roles.
Wuthering Heights will be released worldwide on February 11th, and in the United States on February 13th. This timing suggests the film’s stars will likely be promoting it together again on Valentine’s Day.
