The last episode of “Star Wars: The Acolyte” was recently broadcasted. This series brought about two significant surprise appearances and wrapped up many of its plots, while still keeping the door open for a possible next season.
In season 2, there’s a possibility that the storyline between Osha and Qimir will develop into a romance. Clues suggesting this were dropped in Episode 6, as Headland explicitly stated their plan to bring these characters closer. After the finale, Jacinto also confirmed that the show intends to explore a romantic connection between them.
Although their connection has been suggested through glances and implied actions on screen, Jacinto disclosed to Vulture that they shot a kissing scene for the last episode. Regrettably, this scene was eliminated due to being deemed inappropriate or not fitting with the flow of events in that particular episode.

In this specific instance, I recall directing a scene where Osha and the Stranger shared an unexpected kiss. The chemistry between the actors was palpable, and it felt like a powerful moment that would surely resonate with audiences.

The call for a new season of “The Acolyte” has grown loud. However, Leslye Headland has suggested a darker path for the characters of Qimir and Osha. Her unexpected appearance as Darth Plagueis in the series complicates their dynamic and relationship, as Headland herself confirmed, “there can only be two” significant figures in this narrative.
