A new production of George Bernard Shaw’s play Saint Joan will feature Mandipa Kabanda in the title role, offering a fresh interpretation of the Joan of Arc story.

Mandipa Kabanda stars as Joan in Saint Joan, a play co-produced by Raw Material, Perth Theatre, and Aberdeen Performing Arts, and presented in association with the Citizens Theatre.

I just finished watching Saint Joan, and it’s a truly compelling film. It tells the incredible true story of Joan of Arc, a teenager who remarkably rose to lead the French army and ultimately helped them win the Hundred Years’ War. It’s a powerful and moving depiction of her life.
