Man Who Murdered Rapper PnB Rock At Roscoe’s House Of Chicken & Waffle Two Years Ago Found Guilty; Read Full Story

As a devoted fan of PnB Rock, I can’t help but feel a mix of relief and sorrow as the guilty verdict for Freddie Lee Trone has finally been handed down. Two years have passed since that fateful day at Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles, a place where he should’ve enjoyed his favorite meal in peace, not lost his life to senseless violence.

Two years after the tragic shooting death of rapper PnB Rock at Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles, a California jury has declared the individual responsible for his murder guilty. On that fateful day, PnB Rock suffered gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.

According to an article published by The Deadline on August 7th, a jury in Compton, California found Freddie Lee Trone guilty of murdering the rapper known as Rakim Allen.

As reported by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, the jury delivered their verdict in under four hours. Both Trone and co-defendant Tremont Jones were convicted of two charges related to robbery and conspiring to steal, according to this source.

On the fateful day of his killing, the rapper adorned himself with jewelry valued at a substantial sum, approximately half a million dollars. Additionally, they mentioned that in the days leading up to his demise, he flaunted this expensive jewelry on social media platforms.

According to the article, the prosecutors stated that the situation drew Jones’ attention, prompting him to inform Trone. In response, Trone’s 17-year-old son was dispatched, armed with a gun and a ski mask, to burglarize the rapper’s jewelry collection.

As a rapper was seated at a table, a 17-year-old carrying a firearm approached him and demanded valuable possessions, brandishing the gun. The teenager fired shots, hitting the rapper first in the chest and then in the back when his refusal of the demands ensued, according to prosecutors.

A week following the shooting incident, a criminal complaint was submitted, detailing that after the teen fatally shot the rapper, he proceeded to take several pieces of jewelry from the victim’s person. Subsequently, they fled together with his father. Since the minor was involved in a murder at the time, their identity remains confidential according to the publication’s policy.

At age thirty, the rapper ended up in the hospital, unfortunately succumbing to his wounds.

According to the report, during the court case, Timothy Richardson, the deputy district attorney argued that if someone plays a significant role in a crime and acts with disregard for human life, they can still be found guilty of felony murder – even if they didn’t directly pull the trigger. This was the reason behind Trone’s conviction, despite it being his son who actually performed the shooting.

On August 27, sentencing for both Trone and Jones will take place. Following this, a competency hearing for the teen is scheduled for August 28. Shauntel Trone, another defendant, has entered a no contest plea for accessory after the fact in July and her sentencing is set for January.

PnB Rock, together with his partner, welcomed two beautiful daughters named Milan and Xuri into the world. His professional life is thriving, collaborating on projects with numerous renowned artists such as Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, Chance the Rapper, and Ed Sheeran.
