Mammoth Star Sophie Nyweide Was Pregnant at the Time of Her Demise, Confirms Death Certificate

24-year-old Sophie Nyweide, famed for her roles in Noah and Mammoth as a child actress, tragically passed away. On April 14, her lifeless body was found near a riverbank in Vermont, just beyond a local high school in Bennington. Media outlets have acquired her death certificate which indicates she was expecting at the time of her demise; however, the document does not specify the stage of her pregnancy.

Officially, the authorities are investigating her unexpected passing as potentially accidental drug overdose. However, they have yet to confirm the exact cause of death. The first responders tried their best to save her life on the spot, but unfortunately, they couldn’t. Sadly, Nyweide was pronounced dead at the scene.

At the scene when authorities arrived, they found another individual with her. This person is currently assisting investigators and, as stated by the police, he is neither a suspect nor a person of interest. It was actually him who dialed 911 to seek urgent help.

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Sophie, a family member, had passed away. In a conversation with TMZ, Sophie’s mother, Shelly Nyweide, expressed worries about her daughter potentially using drugs in the days leading up to her demise. At present, they are awaiting autopsy results as an investigation continues.

A digital tribute portrayed Nyweide as a sweet and trustful young lady, unfortunately, making her an easy target for exploitation by others. Her love for writing and artistry frequently mirrored her deep personal conflicts.

The obituary stated, “Her writings and art often served as guides through her battles and pain. Despite the diagnoses, her self-disclosures, and attempts by those near to her, including therapists, law enforcement, and others offering assistance, everyone involved grieves deeply that they couldn’t prevent her from her destiny.

From an early stage in her life, Nyweide embarked on her acting career. Making her debut on screen in the 2006 movie titled ‘Bella’, she subsequently featured in ‘Law & Order’, ‘And Then Came Love’, and ‘Margot at the Wedding’.
