‘Mafia: The Old Country’ Leaked Trailer Goes Old School

Oh boy, oh boy! I’ve been waiting for this moment since the day they teased us with that tiny hint back in 2022! As a die-hard Mafia series fan who’s spent countless hours navigating the gritty streets of Lost Heaven and Lincoln County, the thought of stepping into the Old Country of Sicily is nothing short of exhilarating. The 1900s mob narrative, the brutal underworld, the rich storytelling, it’s all a recipe for a masterpiece that I simply can’t wait to devour!

An unauthorized trailer for ‘Mafia: The Old Country’ has popped up online prior to its scheduled presentation at The Game Awards. This sneak peek provides a look at the game’s atmosphere set in Sicily during the 1900s, emphasizing the game’s familiar tough-guy mob storyline. The title is expected to hit stores in summer 2025 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

13th Hangar Developers, famous for ‘Mafia 3′, revealed in 2022 that they were working on a new title as a tribute to the series’ 20-year milestone. Initially, it was expected that this game would be released after several years. However, with the recently leaked trailer, we now have a clearer understanding of what’s in store for us.

Instead of the past entries being based in mid-20th-century America, ‘Mafia: The Old Country’ transports players to Sicily during the early 1900s. This game offers a genuine and engaging experience, focusing on the brutal underworld prevalent during that time. Players should anticipate compelling narratives and accurate portrayals of the origins of organized crime.
