Apple TV+ has renewed the hit drama *The Morning Show*, starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, for a fifth season. The announcement came just before the premiere of season four.

Even though the show has received positive reviews, viewers aren’t all agreeing. Critics gave it a 75% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but the audience score is much lower, at just 34%. People on social media had a variety of reactions to the news that it’s been renewed.
Viewers had mixed feelings about the show. One person said it was ‘just okay, not good enough to warrant five seasons.’ Another hoped this would be the final season, not because the show was bad – they hadn’t even finished the first episode – but because they believe no show should run for more than five seasons.
