Logan Paul is back in the ring, but this time, it’s not WWE or YouTube boxing.
As a huge cinema and collectibles fan, I was floored by the latest season of King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch on Netflix. They revealed that Paul’s incredibly rare Pokémon Illustrator card is up for auction, and the bidding is already nearing an unbelievable $5 million! It’s seriously mind-blowing to watch.

Logan Paul’s Pokémon Illustrator Up for Sale
In the third season of the popular Netflix show, Ken Goldin, a collector and businessman, teams up with Logan Paul to sell what many consider the most iconic Pokémon card ever made: a perfectly graded (PSA 10) Pikachu Illustrator.
This is the only known copy of its kind in such excellent condition, and the auction is already at $4.8 million with over a month still remaining.
This isn’t a typical consignment. Goldin explains to Paul that he’ll earn money not only from selling the card itself, but also a percentage of the profits from the whole collection it belongs to.
Paul will receive a $2.5 million advance as part of the agreement—the biggest payment he’s ever gotten, which he jokingly called “not bad for a kid from Ohio.”

An Auction Set-Up Featuring Hulk Hogan Rookie Cards and Tobacco Card Surprises
The buildup to the Pokémon deal is classic Goldin TV.
The season kicks off with excitement as Ken and Paul open a vintage box of 1985 WWF trading cards. They find several rookie cards featuring Hulk Hogan, which could be worth as much as $50,000 each if they’re in perfect condition.
One of the most shocking moments of the season happens when Ken risks $38,000 on a sealed box of old tobacco cards, hoping it’s from the same collection that produced the famous Honus Wagner T206 card. However, when he opens it, he finds absolutely nothing – the box is completely empty, leaving Goldin and Paul speechless.

The Most Valuable Pokémon Card on the Planet
The most valuable item this season—and possibly in all of collectible card trading—is Logan Paul’s Pikachu Illustrator card.
This Pokémon card, graded a perfect 10 by PSA, holds the Guinness World Record as the most expensive Pokémon card ever sold. It was originally purchased by Paul in a notable transaction in Dubai.
Many fans will recall Paul first wearing the Pokémon card – displayed in a diamond-covered Pokéball necklace – when he appeared in WWE at WrestleMania 38. He then let his friend Ken borrow it for a boxing match that included his brother, Jake Paul.
The card’s legacy includes:
- The only PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator in existence
- Set in a $75,000 custom necklace made with over 70 carats of VVS1 natural diamonds
- Personally hand-delivered by Logan Paul to the winning bidder, anywhere in the world
The Pikachu Illustrator card first appeared in 1997 as a prize in a CoroCoro Comic art contest. Only 41 copies were ever officially given out. A version graded PSA 10, owned by Paul, is widely considered the most valuable Pokémon card in existence.
