Olivia Dunne, known as Livvy, is starting an acting career with a role in the new “Baywatch” series coming to Fox. The 23-year-old social media personality shared a sneak peek of her work on Friday, posting pictures of herself with a script and wearing a red swimsuit similar to what lifeguards wear.
Olivia Dunne announced her new role with a playful reference to the classic line, ‘I’m not a lifeguard, but I play one on TV,’ in an Instagram post that included news articles about her casting. The news was first reported on Thursday, and Dunne immediately shared her enthusiasm on X, writing, ‘Time to get to work!!’
Dunne will play Grace, a very energetic young lifeguard, in a repeating role on the show. While she’s been the face of a Fanatics Sportsbook ad campaign before, this is her first time acting in a television series.

The former LSU gymnast has always loved acting. She recently explained that while she was interested in pursuing it during her time at LSU, her athletic commitments had to come first. As a student-athlete, gymnastics and school took priority. Now that she’s finished with school, she finally has the time to focus on acting and explore her creative interests.
Olivia Dunne shared a glimpse into her personal life, revealing she couldn’t watch Team USA pitcher Paul Skenes play against Mexico on Monday due to work commitments. It’s unclear if this work was related to her filming for “Baywatch.” Dunne and Skenes have been dating for a while now.
Fox will premiere a new version of “Baywatch” this fall. The cast includes Stephen Amell, Jessica Belkin, Hassie Harrison, Shay Mitchell, Brooks Nader, David Chokachi, Thaddeus LaGrone, and Noah Beck, along with Dunne. The show aims to update the classic lifeguard drama with a blend of established and new talent.
