LILO & STITCH Live-Action Trailer Is All About Ohana and Adorable Vibes

The trailer for the live-action and CGI mashup Lilo & Stitch movie is here. And yes, it is just as adorable as the teasers we’ve seen so far. While it still seems a bit soon to be reimagining an animated film that just came out in 2002, I have to remember that wasn’t yesterday. In fact, 2002 was over twenty years ago, so there’s a whole new generation of kiddos who will beg their parents to go see Lilo & Stitch. That’s wild. 

This trailer showcases Stitch’s journey to Earth where he encounters Lilo, a sweet yet lonely girl. Stitch is quite unusual and endearing, making me genuinely fond of him. The duo learns about the concept of ‘Ohana’, which signifies that no family is flawless. However, there are menacing elements intent on capturing Stitch and spoiling their fun times. I’m particularly excited to see Courtney B. Vance portray a villain in a sharp suit.

The hilarious and heartwarming tale of a solitary Hawaiian girl and the runaway alien who helps heal her fractured family is titled Lilo & Stitch.
