Lilia Calderu’s Unique Ability in ‘Agatha All Along’ Hints at a Potential Connection to Loki

As a seasoned gamer who’s been through the twists and turns of countless narratives, I must say, the latest episode of Agatha All Along has left me utterly captivated! Lilia Calderu, the enigmatic divination witch, has finally stepped into the limelight, and boy, did she deliver!

In the most recent installment of “Agatha All Along“, the remaining members of the coven faced a fresh hurdle – the Trial of Time. This time, Lilia showcased her skills as a proficient divination witch.

Until now, Lilia Calderu has mostly been a background character, despite dropping several significant hints. Her decision to place a sigil on Billy Kaplan may also have repercussions in other MCU projects.

In the most recent installment, we gained a glimpse into Lilia’s history. It was revealed that she was once a youthful sorceress in Sicily, living hundreds of years ago. Her Maestra made efforts to guide and control her powers, yet Lilia found it consistently challenging to master them.

It’s interesting to note that Lilia has found herself in an extraordinary situation—she’s been caught in a recurring time loop. This peculiarity manifested in her life as a child, but she decided to overlook it until it disappeared. However, it reoccurred when she crossed paths with Billy Kaplan at his Bar Mitzvah and caught a glimpse of his future.

In other words, what’s the mechanism behind it? Lilia Calderu possesses the ability to traverse both time and space, yet she fails to recall her experiences from these jumps. Instead, she is only left with scattered data points that she needs to make sense of on her own.

Lilia was able to give Alice cryptic warnings not to assist Agatha in her trial because she foresaw that it would endanger Alice’s life. However, she found it difficult to express herself plainly. Consequently, her warnings were fragmented and given during two separate instances: “Alice, don’t” and “Don’t try to save Agatha.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this temporal anomaly is an uncommon occurrence, yet not completely exclusive. Think back to Loki‘s situation: in the second season of “Loki”, he was unexpectedly moved through both space and time following his unsuccessful attempt to rectify the Time Loom.

The solution to Loki’s problem was to gain control over his condition and ultimately replace the Time Loom and He Who Remains as the God of Time and stories.

In much the same vein, Lilia discovered a method to cope with her situation – she was required to embrace her own mortality. For countless centuries, she had been a seer witch, yet confronting the reality of her end proved challenging.

In the courtroom, she discovered that Rio Vidal was actually Lady Death, signaling her impending doom. This shocking truth infused her with the resolve to lay down her life to vanquish Salem’s Seven, thus enabling the coven to advance to their next challenge—one we know will feature Billy.

Hinting at a possible deeper bond between Lilia Calderu and Loki, their common traits could point towards involvement in a broader multiverse scenario, implying there might be future appearances of Lilia.
