Lil Nas X isn’t shy about expressing his candid thoughts on past decisions, particularly regarding his bold fashion choices. Reflecting on such moments, the musician reminisced about one daring ensemble he donned at the Met Gala in 2023.
During an interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Nas X expressed that he has no interest in revisiting the look he showcased at a recent red carpet event. Photos were displayed that featured his unique ensemble, which included crystal-encrusted body makeup and a thong.
The musician Panini shared with the host, “There are instances when I find myself thinking, ‘Ah, I’m glad I did that, but I have no desire to repeat it…’ Referring to the Met Gala event about two years back, where I was partially exposed and adorned in crystals.
Additionally, he mentioned that he was unable to describe the sensation of approaching Bad Bunny, greeting him with a “Hi”, conversing with him, and subsequently leaving while aware that he was observing you adorned with crystals.
Nas X unequivocally stated: He harbors no regrets! He expressed, “I hold no regrets. Let me make that clear to you. But it was more about pushing beyond my comfort zone, feeling confident about my body. I just wanted to take a leap. And now, in hindsight, I can’t help but think, ‘Wow, everyone saw my behind, adorned with shimmering crystals!’
As a reminder, the 2023 Met Gala honored the late fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld, with the event’s theme being ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Symphony of Grace’.
This year’s Met Gala, taking place on May 5th, was themed “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”. As a dedicated follower, I was captivated by the stunning displays on the blue carpet. Notable attendees like Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, and Teyana Taylor truly embraced the theme. Many others also dazzled in their unique interpretations of the theme.
