‘Like the Arya Stark moment’: The Boys Season 5 Star Wishes Game of Thrones’ Style Ending For Homelander

As a dedicated follower of The Boys and a fan of Karen Fukuhara’s captivating portrayal of Kimiko, I find her wish for Kimiko to kill Homelander nothing short of exhilarating. Having grown up with superhero stories where the good always triumphs over evil, it is refreshing to see a character like Kimiko stepping up to take down the ruthless Homelander.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always on the lookout for the best entertainment, and one series that certainly fits the bill is “The Boys.” This remarkable show, filled with superhero chaos, continues to captivate audiences as we near its conclusion. Interestingly enough, one of the stars has recently shared insights about the future of their character.

Karen Fukuhara, who plays the character of Kimiko in the Amazon Prime Video series, has a well-thought-out strategy for saying goodbye to the show and hopes for a satisfying conclusion for her character.

Recently, while talking to TV Guide the Suicide Squad actress spilled the tea, detailing the ending that she wishes to see for her character in The Boys.

In response to being asked by the cast of The Boys how they’d like their characters to meet their end in the series, Fukuhara (who portrayed the mute, super-powered character Kimiko throughout Season 4) shared her desire for Kimiko to eliminate Homelander.

In the show, Tony Starr portrays Homelander, a merciless Superman-type character who serves as the main adversary. Fans believe it essential for Homelander’s death to be orchestrated by Billy Butcher instead of Kimiko, as they feel that is more fitting with the narrative.

Karen Fukuhara additionally expressed a preference for the conclusion to resemble that of Arya Stark from the popular series, “Game of Thrones.”

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but express my longing for a moment straight out of Arya Stark’s book. Remember when she took down the White Walker, leaving everyone in shock? Well, that’s exactly what I’m yearning for!

She continued to emphasize, “If it were to come down to it, his passing could be considered honorable; should I find myself in the position of taking his life, I’d be prepared to meet my own end.”

Despite the criticism from fans, they’ve made it clear that they perceive Billy Butcher, the former leader of The Boys (portrayed by Karl Urban), as a sort of ‘kryptonite’ to Homelander, due to their long-standing animosity in the series.

On X (previously known as Twitter), a fan posted, “What’s the reason for replicating Game of Thrones’ most disappointing moment?”

A post on the social network stated, “This concept is dreadful, it’s always been Butcher against Homelander, and Butcher should be the one responsible. Drawing inspiration from Season 8 of Game of Thrones is definitely not a positive move.”

The fourth season of “The Boys,” their most recent, has come to an end and can now be streamed on Amazon Prime Video. The show will wrap up with its final season, season 5.
