Milo Ventimiglia, well-known for his role in “This Is Us,” unfortunately became another casualty of the devastating wildfires ravaging greater Los Angeles. The affluent American town has been significantly impacted by this disaster, including the family residence of Ventimiglia.

In an interview with CBS during a news segment, Ventimiglia shared that he and his wife, Jarah Mariano, swiftly evacuated in order to safeguard their lives. Regrettably, they could merely stand by and witness their cherished home reduce to nothing but ash.

Speaking to an outlet, the individual from the realm of Bad shared that on January 7, 2025, he tragically lost his residence. Subsequently, he revealed that he and his wife had a harrowing experience as they witnessed their Malibu home get consumed by fire, with flames rapidly spreading.

Speaking about his experience, the actor from The Grown Ups 2 stated, “I had a moment of disbelief when I realized it was all too true and unfolding right before my eyes.” He also shared that he watched the destruction of their property on the security camera footage as the wildfire raged.

Milo Ventimiglia eventually decided to stop viewing the live stream, as he had come to terms with the loss and saw no point in continuing to watch the home videos.

The actor pointed out that, just like his character Jack Pearson in This Is Us, his own house was tragically destroyed by fire. He acknowledged this uncanny resemblance by saying, “I can’t help but notice the real-life echo of art imitating life.
