Liam Payne’s previous therapist is said to have suggested, prior to his sad passing, that he should look for advanced treatment options several months earlier. A court document obtained by TMZ on December 30 suggests that in a note to him, the psychiatrist expressed her intention to stop working with Payne because she felt he needed more specialized attention from mental health professionals.
The psychologist strongly advised the musician to consistently attend therapy appointments to cope with his depression and past traumas, consult a general practitioner, strictly follow the medication regimen as directed, and abstain from excessive alcohol consumption. It was said that she enclosed a list of potential doctors and recovery centers in her correspondence to Payne.

On October 16, Payne was discovered lifeless, having fallen from the third floor of CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires. An initial autopsy report pointed to numerous injuries as the reason for his demise, such as bleeding in his chest, skull, and abdomen. In the early stages following his death, suicide was speculated; however, a preliminary police evaluation suggested that Payne may have fallen from his hotel room balcony while under the influence of alcohol.
On December 29th, it was reported by a local Argentine news source that five people were indicted for the death of Payne at the age of 31. These individuals include Payne’s friend, Roger Nores, as well as Esteban Gracci, an employee from the hotel, and Gilda Martin, who is the head of security at the hotel. They are all facing charges of manslaughter.
According to the report, it is alleged that Braian Paiz, a waiter at CasaSur, and Ezequiel Pereyra, another employee, provided drugs to Payne prior to his tragic fall. The five individuals accused in this case have been ordered to appear in court.
Previously, Nores, who had been with Payne just prior to his passing, spoke out about the accusations leveled against him.
In an interview with The Daily Mail in November, he mentioned that he didn’t leave the singer behind. He explained that when he said goodbye to Payne in the hotel lobby, there were around 15 people engaging with him in conversation and laughter. “I never would have thought something like this could occur,” he said, expressing his deep sadness about the tragedy. “I’ve been mourning my friend every day since.
This past month, I found myself filing a grievance against the hotel, alleging that they had neglected to ensure my safety while I was lodged at CasaSur.
