The news of Braian Nahuel Paiz’s arrest has left me feeling a whirlwind of emotions – shock, disbelief, anger, and immense sadness for Liam and his loved ones.

It’s heartbreaking to think that such a dedicated fan could find himself in this situation. I remember watching him on El Diario de Mariana, professing his admiration for One Direction and Liam Payne specifically. Argentine waiter Braian Nahuel Paiz was apprehended for suspected drug sales to singer Liam Payne, who later passed away. The arrest occurred on January 3, following allegations made against him by Argentina’s National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office a few days prior. If found guilty, Paiz could face a prison sentence ranging from four to fifteen years.

31-year-old Payne suffered a fatal fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires on October 16th. According to officials, an autopsy revealed evidence of alcohol, pink cocaine, and a prescription antidepressant in his system, suggesting multiple drug use within the three days preceding his demise.

Instead, Paiz rejected all accusations, asserting that he and Payne both used drugs together. Yet, he insisted that he never gave the drugs to the singer. He’s a big fan of Payne, who is well-known as a member of the band One Direction.

As reported by People, Fernando Madeo Facente, his lawyer, recently appeared on an Argentinian talk show, El Diario de Mariana. During the show, he stated that my client had a conversation with several topics. Notably, he is a longtime admirer of One Direction. He held affection for Liam and respected him. He seized the chance to interact with Liam during their encounter at the restaurant where he was employed.

He noted, “They exchanged numerous messages, engaged in deep and seamless discussions, covering various subjects. At some stage, they even discussed the possibility of meeting privately for enjoyment, leisure, and potentially something more intimate.

Five individuals, including the hotel manager, receptionist, and a friend of Payne, are facing charges for manslaughter due to the alleged negligence in not providing aid when Payne was in distress and needed assistance in his weakened condition.

On the 14th of October, it is alleged that Paiz dealt cocaine to Payne on two separate occasions. This incident took place only two days prior to the tragic accident that resulted in Payne’s death. Despite these allegations, Facente has persisted in asserting Paiz’s innocence.

Global fans were taken aback by the sudden passing of Liam Payne. On November 20th, he was laid to rest. His girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, along with his ex-bandmates from One Direction, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, and Niall Horan, paid their respects at his funeral.
