Leslie Bibb is raising the bar for reality TV influence! The star of “White Lotus” disclosed that she drew inspiration from “The Real Housewives” franchise while getting ready to play the role of Texas housewife Kate Bohr in Season 3 of the popular HBO anthology series.
During her time on Watch What Happens Live, Bibb revealed that she often watched episodes of The Real Housewives before filming scenes. “I’d always be watching The Real Housewives,” she stated, “Sometimes I’d just watch it and let it influence me without even realizing it. That might sound a bit strange, and I’m not sure what specific aspects were affecting me.
Bibb explicitly pointed out that “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and “The Real Housewives of Orange County” served as significant inspirations for her work. She expressed that the ambiance of “Beverly Hills” seemed fitting, with a touch of “Orange County,” possibly reflecting some aspects of Heather Dubrow’s character, implying her character’s wealthy and refined demeanor.
Alongside her, another cast member, Jason Isaacs (Timothy Ratliff), also delved into reality TV. In fact, it was disclosed that the show’s creator, Mike White, prompted Isaacs to explore Southern Charm for research purposes. As Isaacs himself admitted, his character was influenced by Thomas Ravenel, a former cast member of Southern Charm.
For the forthcoming season of a renowned television series with two Golden Globe awards, an impressive cast has been assembled. This includes actors such as Parker Posey, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, and Natasha Rothwell.
