As a seasoned film enthusiast with a penchant for unraveling the intricacies of cinematic storytelling, I am thoroughly enthralled by the upcoming crime thriller featuring Leo Woodall and Dustin Hoffman. The collaboration between these two talented actors under the direction of Academy Award-winning filmmaker Daniel Roher is a recipe for an exhilarating viewing experience.
In collaboration, Leo Woodall and Dustin Hoffman will appear in an upcoming crime thriller, helmed by the award-winning director Daniel Roher. This film is inspired by a pianist who finds that his piano abilities might prove handy in solving safe and locker mysteries.
In this film, the screenplay was penned by Roher and Robert Ramsay. The production of the movie is being handled by JoAnne Sellar and Lila Yacoub. Debra Zane will serve as our casting director.
The creators haven’t disclosed significant storyline elements yet, but it’s been verified that Elevation Pictures will handle the distribution of the movie across Canada.
Following a highly praised performance in the second season of The White Lotus, Woodall has emerged as one of the up-and-coming stars in Hollywood. Subsequently, he excelled in playing the character Dex on the Netflix show One Day.
While speaking about One Day, the actor recalled, “There’s definitely a kind of projection that people put on you.” He further added, “I myself have done it with actors that I’ve watched. It’s just a natural thing that you do. Being on the other end of it was kind of a strange feeling. You just can’t take it too seriously.”
In his latest undertaking, Woodall has been seen working with Russell Crowe, Rami Malek, and Michael Shannon in Nuremberg. Upcoming projects include a role in the new Bridget Jones film titled Mad About the Boy, as well as starring in Prime Target for Apple TV+.
Regarding Hoffman, he’s a two-time Oscar winner out of his seven nominations, and he’s set to appear in Francis Ford Coppola’s upcoming film, Megalopolis. This film debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in May and is scheduled for theater release in September.
As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but sing praises about Daniel Roher, a director whose cinematic masterpieces have left me spellbound! From Once Were Brothers to Finding Fukue, Survivors Rowe, and Ghosts of Our Forest, his work has been nothing short of extraordinary. The crowning achievement, however, was undeniably his Oscar-winning documentary, Navalny, in the Best Documentary Feature category. This autumn, I’m beyond excited to witness his latest creation, Blink, which will grace our screens courtesy of National Geographic and Disney!
