Every year, the prestigious Met Gala serves as both a charity event and a fundraiser for the Costume Institute. Held within The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, this extravagant gathering has managed to amass impressive sums over the years. Last year, it brought in approximately 26 million USD.
