In a sneak peek, we catch our initial glimpse of the forthcoming DC animated film featuring the dynamic duo (Batman and his partner), as leaked design sketches offer a glimpse into the storyline. These illustrations hint towards the presence of not just Batman, but also two Robins, as well as Nightwing and Red Hood.

In X, three pictures appeared, each one showcasing Dick Grayson embodying his traditional comic-book Robin persona. On the other hand, Jason Todd underwent a transformation, sporting a red mohawk and a new costume that seems to foreshadow his eventual role as the Red Hood.
In the second artwork, we get a glimpse of Gotham City and Wayne Tower; upon closer inspection, it seems to depict Red Hood and Nightwing.
The third piece of art shows off a look at Batman along with the two young Robins, Dick and Jason.

What is Dynamic Duo about?
The animated film delves into the backstory of both Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, primarily concentrating on their time as Robins during their youth.
Based on a prior account, the group known as “Dynamic Duo” explores their friendship’s deterioration, as they individually embark on separate journeys to define what heroism entails for each of them.
Behind the movie
Matt Reeves is overseeing the production of the film, with a script penned by Matthew Aldrich, who has previously worked on hit movies like “Lightyear” and “Coco”. Arthur Mintz will be directing; he has experience in storyboarding for films such as “James and the Giant Peach”, and also contributed to the Emmy-winning Netflix project “Lost Ollie”, which combines computer-generated imagery (CGI) and stop-motion animation.
The “Dynamic Duo” is set to showcase an animating style that’s reminiscent of puppetry, created by Swaybox – a studio located in New Orleans, which was established by the duo comprising Mintz and his wife, Theresa Andersson.
The movie was jointly produced by DC Studios and the freshly established animation division of Warner Bros. Pictures, led by Bill Damaschke.
For quite some time now, I’ve harbored the desire to create a movie featuring Arthur and Swaybox, and it’s been a long-held ambition that this film would be Dynamic Duo – an extraordinary and distinct Batman and Robin tale tailored for family audiences – which feels like a dream come true. This groundbreaking production is the first feature film from the innovative minds at Swaybox, blending animation, puppetry, and CGI, with a brilliant script penned by Matt Aldrich.
