Moreover, the finale broke records by becoming the most-watched ending for any series on their platform. It’s no surprise that they’re planning to bring it back again!
Title ‘Landman’ explores the lives of oil rig workers, referred to as roughnecks, and the wealthy individuals seeking fortune in the oil industry. The storyline is loosely based on the podcast Boomtown, presenting an intriguing contrast between the laborious work conditions and high-stakes financial maneuvers. This series showcases the struggles of both the working class and the privileged, offering a unique upstairs-downstairs perspective. An impressive ensemble cast, including Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Jon Hamm, and Ali Larter, graces the screen in this production.
