Fans of Lady Gaga were surprised to find out that her new era is coming earlier than expected. The multi-award winner (Grammy and Oscar), who’s currently promoting her upcoming film “Joker: Folie à Deux” at the Venice Film Festival, where she plays Harley Quinn alongside Joaquin Phoenix, revealed on Instagram on Tuesday, September 3, that the release date for the first single from her eagerly awaited seventh album has been announced.
38-year-old Lady Gaga posted her itinerary for the upcoming week in Italy, highlighting events such as a welcome dinner, the premiere screening of the Joker sequel, press conferences, walking the red carpet, and a European promotional tour. Following the festival, her schedule indicates that Joker: Madness Duet will hit theaters on October 4, with the first single from LG7 due for release later in the month.
Lady Gaga, she hinted at her forthcoming musical project by playing a short clip of a song at the end of her Gaga Chromatica Ball special, which aired on HBO in May. Furthermore, she performed several snippets for fans gathered outside her hotel during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In the meantime, Gaga teamed up with Bruno Mars for a romantic soft ballad titled Die with a Smile last month. The track has since reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
As a dedicated follower, I’d like to share that Bruno and I hold a deep mutual respect for each other, leading us to discuss potential collaboration. This was mentioned during the release of our duet on August 16th, as stated in an official announcement. Detailing the development of this collaboration, Lady Gaga shared that Bruno invited her to his studio to listen to something he was creating. Notably, this invitation came at a time when I was wrapping up my own album in Malibu.
