In an Instagram post, she expressed her thoughts about her journey, stating, “I recall a period when even the thought of making it through two weeks seemed unattainable.”
In her heartfelt note, she included a reflective self-portrait taken at the gym. Dressed in black workout attire, she showed off her well-sculpted arms and fit frame, posing confidently beside fitness apparatus.

Richards’ road to being sober has been challenging for her. However, she takes pride in having the determination to stick with it, as she put it in her writing. Looking back at her past, she acknowledged the struggles that came with giving up alcohol. She shared, “I’m aware that there are many who secretly wish for me to resume drinking, including some of my closest friends.”
Everyone adored “Party Kyle” according to her, but the biggest challenge on this trip was dealing with opposition from others. Previously a people-pleaser like Richards, she initially found it difficult without receiving much support.

Richards and Umansky are parents to three girls: Alexia who is 28, Sophia at 24, and youngest one, Portia, who is 16. In addition, Richards has another daughter, Farrah Brittany, born from a past marriage, who turns 35 this year.
In a May 14th episode of the Bitch Bible podcast, Richards shared that Umansky had moved out from their shared residence to West Hollywood. She expressed that when this day arrived, it would feel peculiar. The reality of the situation suddenly hit her hard.
