The first season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters centers on two siblings investigating their family’s ties to Monarch, the secret organization featured in the recent Godzilla and Kong movies. Their search for answers leads them into the world of monsters and eventually to Army officer Lee Shaw. Kurt and Wyatt Russell both play Shaw, appearing in different eras – the 1950s and fifty years later – when Shaw’s knowledge becomes a threat to Monarch.
Everyone’s curious about how much Kurt Russell will be featured in the second season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. While his exact role remains a mystery, it’s safe to say the show won’t waste such a talented actor. We’re excited to see him return! As for when season two will premiere, a release date hasn’t been announced yet. The first season, which premiered in 2023 and was renewed in 2024, is currently available to stream on Apple TV+.
