Kuro Games reveals Phrolova, Chisa, and more upcoming characters for Wuthering Waves

According to recent confirmation from Kuro Games, the character Phrolova is set to be playable within the game’s Wuthering Waves setting. However, they have not disclosed any specific details about this addition at this time.

In the narrative so far, I’ve been playing the role of Phrolova, a character hailing from an organization with a sinister agenda – to stir up the Threnodians and bring worldwide disorder. We clashed in the climactic battle of WuWa 2.0’s story quest, but she lay low for a few updates, keeping the intrigue alive through her associates.

She’ll finally return in WuWa 2.4 and become playable in one of the following versions.

In addition to Phrolova, Kuro Games has hinted at introducing other Resonators that gamers will soon encounter and have the opportunity to control themselves within the next few months.

In the upcoming region of Septimont, it seems that Augusta takes a prominent role, evident in her delivery of a speech within a crowded stadium, as suggested by the trailer. Her name itself is revealing, derived from Augustus – the first Roman emperor whose name was later adopted by every subsequent ruler of the empire, hinting at her potential significance.

If you observe their themes, Iuno could be considered a counterpart to Augusta, given that one symbolizes the sun while the other represents the moon. Her name is derived from the Roman goddess Juno, who was married to Jupiter; however, since Latin lacks the letter ‘J’, they were written as ‘Iuno’ and ‘Iupiter’.

Iuno, like Augusta, seems to be a counterpart because one symbolizes the sun and the other represents the moon. The name Iuno comes from the Roman goddess Juno who was married to Jupiter, but in Latin, they were written as ‘Iuno’ instead of ‘Juno’, since Latin does not have the letter ‘J’.

It appears that Qiuyuan is out of place in Septimont and seems to be more connected to Huanglong. Given the title “the solitary wandering swordsman,” it’s likely that he’s embarked on a journey for a specific purpose or was forced to leave his homeland.

Chisa appears to embody the character type often referred to as ‘the psychopathic loli with colossal weapon.’ She seems to excellently personify this concept. Her introduction labels her “The Scythe of Annihilation’s Bite.

Lastly, I’ve got Galbrena – a pistol-wielding character with an eerie raven motif. She’s often referred to as the “Soul Immersed in Purifying Flames,” giving off quite the devilish vibe.
