Kuro Games has officially announced that Lupa will be featured in the Wuthering Waves 2.4 banners. This makes her the first character from the upcoming region of Septimont. From her promotional materials, we can see that Lupa is a powerful 5-Star Resonator who seems to specialize in Fusion Damage and uses a lance. However, for gameplay purposes, she will be armed with a broadblade instead.
Without a doubt, Lupa carries strong connections to wolves through her name and artwork, making her an ideal character to introduce us to Septimont – a city-state in Rinascita that appears to be influenced by Rome. The Romans, well known for their tales, spoke of their city being established by twins who were nurtured by a she-wolf in the wilderness. Notably, Septimont derives its name from the Latin words ‘septem’ (seven) and ‘mons’ (hill), reflecting Rome’s seven hills.
In a unique twist, Lupa’s drip marketing extends the Rome parallels by portraying herself as a top gladiator from Septimont. She is a warrior with an unblemished heart, wild spirit, burning passion, and immense potential. Relentlessly pursuing what she admires, she cherishes every opportunity that lets her immerse in competition and self-expression on stage.
