Kuro Games has announced that Chisa will be a playable character in the next update, version 2.8, of their open-world RPG, Wuthering Waves. She’s a powerful 5-Star character who fights with large scissors, likely as a ‘Broadblade’ type. Details about the type of damage she deals are still to come.
According to her official description, Chisa perceives vulnerabilities as ‘threads’. She analyzes her opponents, finds these weak points, and then swiftly cuts them away with her scissors, causing them to fall apart.
According to recent lore, Chisa is a thoughtful and practical student at Startorch Academy. She believes most problems can be solved by breaking them down and carefully examining them. However, she finds human relationships to be an exception – while they can be broken, it’s this delicate nature that makes them so valuable.
Chisa, operating in a world marked by loss and change, has a unique ability. She perceives vulnerabilities as fragile threads within any structure. By carefully analyzing her target, she pinpoints and cuts these weak points, swiftly dismantling its stability with a precise strike.

I’ve been so excited for Chisa ever since they first hinted at her with the Septimont story! We’ve already gotten Galbrena and Qiuyuan in this update, and Chisa is the last character they teased, so I’m really hoping we get some new previews of her soon. I’m guessing update 2.8 will be the last one before Version 3.0, which will send Rover off to a completely new part of the world – I can’t wait!
