KPop Demon Hunters’ Soundtrack Rules Billboard Hot 100 With 7 Songs: Golden, Your Idol and More Climb Chart

In recent times, the animated movie “KPop Demon Hunters” has been the talk of the town online, garnering significant attention. Not only has it seen a surge in viewership, but also managed to dominate music charts by placing seven of its tracks on the Billboard Hot 100 list.

In light of prior news reports, it appears that the made-up boy band from the movie, Saja Boys, has surpassed the globally renowned group BTS, as they climbed up to the second spot on Spotify’s rankings.

The song “Golden” by the fictitious band HUNTR/X is currently in the 23rd spot on the charts, having risen an impressive 58 places since its debut at number 81.

Alongside Golden, other tracks making the cut are Your Idol, now ranked 31st after surging 46 spots in its second week. Notably, Soda Pop by the Saja Boys has also found a spot on the chart, landing at number 42.

In my perspective, as a dedicated follower, HUNTR/X’s “What It Sounds Like” has made its grand entrance at number 55, freely available for all. The duo Rumi and Jinwoo have impressively reached number 58 with their piece. Meanwhile, Takedown is sitting pretty at position 64. The soundtrack of the movie is on a roll towards global triumph, moving up from number 8 to no. 3 in just its second week. To top it all off, “Your Idol” is currently leading the charts on Spotify!

Regarding the movie, KPop Demon Hunters centers around a girl group that must conceal their identities as demon hunters while pursuing fame. After its Netflix premiere, viewers speculate whether the creators will produce a sequel due to numerous unresolved plot points remaining.
