In the final episode of Kowloon Generic Romance, Xiaohei reached out to Reiko, annoyed by the persistent noise from her neighbor Yaomay, a craftswoman specializing in plush toys. Reiko inquired about the engagement photo with Yaomay, who held the opinion that Reiko is not identical to Kujirai B.
At one point, Hajime found himself thinking back to when he first worked alongside Kujirai B within the unique Kowloon Walled City. He vividly remembered her profound affection for its sentimental allure. Presently, Reiko encountered Miyuki Hebinuma for a discussion, but his assertion that her memories were fabricated disturbed her. This left her confused and agitated, causing her to leave with doubts about her very identity.
In Episode 3 of Kowloon Generic Romance, Hajime will bring Reiko’s goldfish bowl to her house, and he’ll be surprised to notice that her room looks a lot like his ex-lover’s. Meanwhile, as Hajime keeps looking for Gwen, the waiter from the Goldfish Teahouse, he won’t find any signs of him.
In the meantime, a masked individual starts wandering around Kowloon and encounters Reiko. He reveals to her that there was another version of herself called Kujirai B who once existed. This revelation makes Reiko doubt whether her habits, emotions, and even her feelings are truly her own, causing her to question the source of her emotions.
On April 19, 2025, at 11:00 pm Japanese Standard Time, Kowloon Generic Romance Episode 3 will air. In line with the pattern of adapting eight manga chapters per episode, Episode 2 encompassed chapters 9 to 16. This series is planned to span 13 episodes in total.
On the TV Tokyo Network, fresh installments of Kowloon Generic Romance will be aired every Saturday. Japanese audiences can catch Episode 3 on Disney Plus, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video, while viewers from other countries can tune in on Crunchyroll, Ani-One Asia, or BiliBili.
