Kit Harington Strips Down on Set of ‘Industry’ Season 4: Boxer Shorts and All

As a film and TV fan, I’ve been really impressed with Kit Harington’s choices since Game of Thrones ended. He’s clearly not shying away from challenging roles, and his part as Sir Henry Muck in HBO’s Industry is a perfect example – he’s really throwing himself into playing someone with a lot of grey areas and complicated motivations.

Fans recently spotted Kit Harington on the set of Industry Season 4, sharing playful behind-the-scenes photos of him in his underwear. This lighthearted moment contrasts with the difficult challenges his character is facing on screen.

The fourth season of the show ends with Henry’s world falling apart as the fraudulent activities at Tender are revealed. As things spiral, the company’s CFO, Whitney Halberstram (played by Max Minghella), tries to distance himself, leaving Henry to desperately try and hold everything together.

Kit Harington believes his character consistently struggles because he’s too focused on himself to see what’s really happening. This self-absorption leads to failures in his professional life, just as it did in politics, and makes him easily manipulated – not only by Whitney, but also by his wife, Yasmin, played by Marisa Abela.

Harington shared that Henry greatly admires Whitney and looks up to him as a professional role model. He described Henry as being captivated by Whitney, wanting to emulate his business success. However, Henry’s aspirations are cut short when he faces repercussions for his role in Tender’s plan while on a flight with Whitney and another accomplice, headed for Lithuania.

A particularly moving scene in the show happens when Yasmin tells Henry she no longer has romantic feelings for him. Kit Harington explained that filming this scene with Marisa Abela required a lot of sensitivity and precision.

The characters are constantly on the verge of conflict, caught in a deeply unhealthy relationship that was always destined to be volatile. The creator wondered if any remnants of their former love still existed beneath the surface. He aimed to show the audience that, even amidst all the negativity, a flicker of tenderness remained between them.

The scene highlights Henry’s difficulty in genuinely understanding the people he’s closest to. As Harington observed, it’s painful to watch because Henry isn’t truly listening to or seeing his partner for who she is—he’s too focused on himself. Harington also believes Henry’s deep-seated flaws, formed in the past, suggest he’ll likely continue to repeat a pattern of self-destructive behavior, even when facing difficult times.

Kit Harington explained that his character is fundamentally trying to be a good person, constantly asking if striving for goodness isn’t the point of everything. However, he believes deep-seated flaws will always lead the character to make mistakes, even with good intentions.

Kit Harington is proving his acting skills with his complex and flawed character, Henry Muck, in the series Industry. Viewers are eager to see what happens to Henry next, and fun behind-the-scenes pictures show that Harington maintains a lighthearted attitude even when dealing with the show’s intense storylines.
