Kit Harington Compares His Industry Character Henry Muck With The’Perfect’ Jon Snow From Game Of Thrones: ‘He Was Sometimes Tricky To Play’

As a devoted fan of Kit Harington since his days as Jon Snow, witnessing him step into a new role in Industry Season 3 is nothing short of exhilarating! His transformation from the morally upright Jon Snow to the enigmatic Henry Muck, a character with questionable moral compass, promises an intriguing journey for both the audience and Harington himself.

Actor Kit Harington, renowned for his role in Game of Thrones, is moving forward to assume a fresh character. He’s set to appear in the third season of Industry on HBO. His new part will be Henry Muck, the chief executive officer of a tech company specializing in green technology that plans to go public. Excited about joining a series he’s been a fan of since its initial seasons, Harington expressed his anticipation for this new endeavor.

In an interview with THR, he expressed that the experience was enjoyable, mentioning, “Joining something you’ve always admired, loved, and followed is thrilling. This was a new adventure for me, and it feels a bit nerdy to say, but I was genuinely eager and excited to be part of this world.”

In his latest part, Harington portrays a character with a deeper, more intricate nature contrasting his popular role as Jon Snow. He’s noted that the character of Henry Muck isn’t ethically perfect, marking a substantial change from acting as Jon Snow, who was renowned for his unwavering moral values.

Harington clarified to the media outlet that “there’s no room for debate among viewers that Henry Muck lacks morality completely. However, it remains uncertain if the audience will like him, empathize with him, or even care about his well-being, given his unsteady moral base, which has been established for a purpose.”

In simpler terms, the actor from The Eternals commented, “Our goal is to portray him. I adored Jon Snow, but at times, it was challenging to act him out as his moral character was almost flawlessly perfect, which can be tricky to depict occasionally.”

In this ensemble, Richard Madden (previously known as Harington) is joining forces with Marisa Abela, Myha’la, Harry Lawtey, Ken Leung, and David Jonsson. His fellow actors have highly commended his acting skills, with Marisa Abela specifically mentioning that Madden’s portrayal of Henry Muck presents a fresh outlook on the character, demonstrating his exceptional talent.

In addition, Myha’la mentioned that it was particularly pleasant to collaborate with him due to his genuine kindness. She also found it flattering that someone she admires is a fan of the series. The third season of Industry is scheduled to debut this coming Sunday.
