The sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance, titled Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, has just added its second DLC, called Legacy of the Forge. At the same time, a fresh set of updates has been released for the game. These updates mainly cover fixes, adjustments, and enhancements throughout the entire gameplay experience.
The detailed changes for Patch 1.4, which is quite extensive with approximately 4,000 words, have been posted on the game’s official website. This update seems substantial as it introduces a new DLC, enhances the Photo Mode with additional settings, and addresses numerous fixes and improvements across quests, combat, user interface, and more. Notably, Henry has learned to cook eggs again after some time. Although the abundance of inebriated characters may reflect reality within the game, Warhorse Studios has decided to modify this aspect by reducing the number of drunken non-player characters (NPCs) wandering around Kuttenburg.
Additional news from the DLC update that wasn’t mentioned in the patch notes involves improvements to the game’s water physics, previously criticized as “broken.” This upgrade has brought delight to one Reddit user who goes by “the water guy,” a title I suspect refers to the “friendly water” enthusiast from Nintendo’s now-defunct Miiverse social media. Furthermore, a small spoiler: some changes have occurred in the game’s ending sequence.
The significant development, however, is a groundbreaking addition to the game found within the Legacy of the Forge expansion. This update could potentially earn it Game of the Year accolades later this year, thanks to its new DLC expansion.
